Evangelism With A Heart

Statement of Faith

Being an evangelical interdenominational mission which accepts missionaries from churches of various denominations.

Being inter-congregational, we seek to fellowship with all who love our Lord Jesus Christ (Eph. 6:24; Phil. 2: 1, 22; Eph. 5:3-21; II Cor. 6:14; Eph. 5:7; John 15:12; I John 4:20-21).

We believe that the Scriptures of the Old Testament (39 books) and New Testament (27 books) are the inspired Word of God, inerrant, infallible and that they are the final authority in all matters of which they speak.

We believe that Jesus is the Christ and is the only begotten Son of God and that He is God the Living Word. We believe that Jesus Christ was miraculously begotten by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary.

We believe in His sinless life; His miracles; in His voluntary, vicarious death atoning for the sins of men; in His bodily resurrection; in His visible, personal and bodily return to this earth in power and glory in the near future, consummating the earth’s history and the eternal plan of God.

We believe in one God, eternally existent and equal in three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

We believe that man, in the person of Adam, was created innocent but by voluntary transgression fell into sin thus plunging the whole human race into condemnation and death so that now all mankind is born in sin.

We believe the only escape from the condemnation of sin, death and eternal separation from God is through sincere repentance of sins (Ezek. 18:31) accepting Jesus as the Son of God and as Savior, Whose saving, redeeming blood, which was shed on the Cross of Calvary, washes away sins, which satisfied Divine justice through this act of love and mercy.

We believe that all who receive the Lord Jesus Christ as their Savior by faith are born again of the Holy Spirit and thereby become children of God. By grace we are saved, through faith, not of works, it is the gift of God (Eph. 2:8,9).

We believe that the Holy Spirit’s work in regard to non-Christians is to convict them of sin and unrighteousness and to bring them into a saving relationship with Christ.

In regard to His work in the Christian, we believe in the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit by His indwelling at salvation so that the Christian is enabled to live a holy life, not fulfilling the lust of the flesh, but bearing fruit to the glory of God; of spiritual baptism; sealing and indwelling as well as teaching and guiding.

We believe that Christ is the Head and Founder of the Church, the Body of Christ, His intended Bride, which is composed of all people, living and dead, who have been joined to Him through saving faith.

We believe that it is the responsibility of all Christians to share the “good news” of salvation to others both by word of mouth and by example, so as to increase the Kingdom of God.

We believe in the resurrection of the crucified body of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His ascension into Heaven, and in His present life as Priest and Advocate for us.

We believe in the bodily resurrection of the dead, the just and the unjust; the one to live in blessing and glory and the other to everlasting condemnation and damnation.

We practice the ordinances of water baptism by immersion and the Lord’s Supper.

We believe in the literal reality of Satan, who is the author of sin, the enemy of God and His Church, a liar, slanderer, adversary of the redeemed, accuser of the brethren, and murderer.
